Kworld DVB-T 310U
Price: £50
We've seen quite a few TV tuners pop up on the market that operate over USB, and the Kworld is another one of these. It allows you to receive digital TV through a standard aerial connection (Freeview).
The unit isn't exactly much to look at - there's a USB connector to plug into your machine, and on the other end there are a couple of inputs - one standard for the aerial and another that allows connection of equipment like DV camcorders.
The Kworld works with Windows Media Center, so if you're running that OS it's relatively plug and play. If you're just running XP, there's some fairly basic software that you can install. It's not exactly flashy, but it does the job.
There's nothing exceptional about this, but then there's nothing really bad about it either. When it comes to picking a USB digital TV tuner, there's really very little to choose between
any of the players on the market.
